YouMeAtSix have divided the music critics with their latest offering, Hold Me Down, since it came out on January 11th. And to be fair, I can see why. Dio, of Holy Diver fame, has been diagnosed with cancer of the stomach. We wish him all the best, and if we prayed, he’d be in our prayers. Following our news announcement yesterday,YMAS have released their debut album on Spotify. We gave it a listen, and it’s pretty good. The five-piece from Weybridge have obviously been taking their music lessons from bands like Fall Out Boy and Paramore, and it’s the direction of the band is fairly clear. There’s nothing on there that you wouldn’t have expected after hearing “Jealous Minds Think Alike”, but it’s solid the whole way through, which is rare among bands nowadays.
