Let It Enfold You was a huge suc­cess among young men with black hair and tight jeans, but not an earth-shattering album among other demo­graph­ics. This album looks set to fol­low its pre­de­cessor. Admit­tedly, their sound has changed, but instead of becom­ing an innov­at­ive, ima­gin­at­ive tal­ent, they have merely become one of a legion of emo bands mas­quer­ad­ing behind their ‘we’re so unique’ fronts. The album doesn’t begin all that badly, but James Nielsen’s vocal defi­cien­cies are shown up in tracks such as ‘Sick or Sane (Fifty for a Twenty)’. …
