Pro­pa­gandhi have announced that they will be releas­ing a split 7″ with Sac­ri­fice. The two bands will each put for­ward one cover, Propagandhi’s will be Tech­no­cracy, by Cor­ro­sion of Con­form­ity, and Sacrifice’s will be Rush’s Anthem.

Sum 41 have gone on record say­ing that the new album won’t be all about Deryck’s recent divorce. Appar­ently, there’s “like, two songs”. They say that fans of Does This Look Infec­ted? and Chuck should love it. The album will be called Scream­ing Bloody Murder, and the first track will be Scum­fuck.

First and fore­most, we regret to inform you that Ron­nie James Dio has died aged 67. We repor­ted on his dia­gnosis with stom­ach can­cer earlier this year, but unfor­tu­nately, he has lost his battle with the dis­ease, des­pite ini­tial state­ments that reports of his death were a hoax. Our thoughts are with his fam­ily and friends.

Two Tongues

Two Tongues is a col­lab­or­a­tion between Max Bemis of ‘Say Any­thing’ and Chris Con­ley of ‘Saves the Day’. Being a huge fan of both the bands I was very excited about the release of these thir­teen tracks; and I am not dis­ap­poin­ted.
Bemis and Con­ley share writ­ing, vocal and gui­tar duties. Bemis brings his trade­mark venom­ous vocal styl­ing to the mix but it is Con­ley who truly shines; with a sound remin­is­cent of ‘In Rev­erie’.

Travis Barker is releas­ing a solo album. He’s invited Lil’ Wayne, Slipknot’s Corey Taylor, The Game and a whole host of other big names to guest on the record. Phil­lip Hill, the gui­tar­ist for Teen Idols is out of hos­pital after being admit­ted on the 4th with a col­lapsed lung. He sus­tained the injury attempt­ing to defend a girl who was being attacked by a group of men. He has no insur­ance plan, but a fund has been set up for him.
