Apo­lo­gies for last week’s lack of news… here’s twice as much this week to make up for it!
The Academy Is…‘s Wil­liam Beck­ett has star­ted work on writ­ing for their fourth album.
Bren­don Urie of Panic! At The Disco has told the world that the gui­tar and bass tracks for the new album are now com­plete, and Spen­cer says that the drums are done too.
Mat­thew Leone of Mad­ina Lake has been ser­i­ously injured. He inter­vened in a domestic argu­ment to stop a woman get­ting beaten by her boy­friend. He suffered some pretty heavy blows …

Sublime, Left to right: Gaugh, Wilson & Nowell

Since Brad­ley Nowell’s death, Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh have been per­form­ing as Long Beach Dub All­stars, but recently have taken back Sub­lime as a band name, since the arrival of Rome Ramirez. A judge has put a stop to this, and Nowell’s fam­ily retain rights to the name.
