Propagandhi, thanks to Carlos A. Restrepo

Pro­pa­gandhi have announced that they will be releas­ing a split 7″ with Sac­ri­fice. The two bands will each put for­ward one cover, Propagandhi’s will be Tech­no­cracy, by Cor­ro­sion of Con­form­ity, and Sacrifice’s will be Rush’s Anthem.
Thrice have announced via twit­ter that they will be releas­ing a new record in 2011.

The Killers have announced that they will be tak­ing an indef­in­ite hiatus after their gig in Aus­tralia on the 21st Feb­ru­ary. In a state­ment to the Asso­ci­ated Press, Dave Keun­ing said:

I first heard Cary Broth­ers live, along­side Tom McRae, on the Hotel Café tour in the UK. I wasn’t aware that Broth­ers had ori­gin­ally thought up the idea and star­ted the tour in Amer­ica — and to be hon­est, I wouldn’t have guessed it either. His per­form­ances were good, but over­shad­owed by those of McRae and Brian Wright and the Waco Tra­gedies.
