Wel­come to the third part of our “Spot­light On: Szi­get 2010″ series. In this part, we will be look­ing at the legendary punk rock band, Bad Reli­gion. The band were foun­ded in LA in 1979, and since then have released on aver­age one record every two years. First and fore­most, we regret to inform you that Ron­nie James Dio has died aged 67. We repor­ted on his dia­gnosis with stom­ach can­cer earlier this year, but unfor­tu­nately, he has lost his battle with the dis­ease, des­pite ini­tial state­ments that reports of his death were a hoax. Our thoughts are with his fam­ily and friends.

Kurt Cobain’s mother has been awar­ded tem­por­ary guard­i­an­ship of his daugh­ter, Frances Bean. Court­ney Love is not men­tioned in the court papers, and no reason is given for the decision. This is the second time Love has lost cus­tody of her daugh­ter.
