Anber­lin have brought for­ward the release date of their new album to Septem­ber 7th. The first track from it, Impossible is avail­able as of today.

Sum 41 have gone on record say­ing that the new album won’t be all about Deryck’s recent divorce. Appar­ently, there’s “like, two songs”. They say that fans of Does This Look Infec­ted? and Chuck should love it. The album will be called Scream­ing Bloody Murder, and the first track will be Scum­fuck.
Accord­ing to this MySpace blog post, Yuri Ruley will be retir­ing from MxPx as of the 18th July in order to spend more time with his fam­ily.

Stray­light Run have announced that they are now on an “indef­in­ite hiatus”. How­ever, Shaun has quit the band for good.
Zoli Teglas (Ignite) is Pennywise’s new vocal­ist. Allegedly, it happened as a res­ult of a mis­di­alled tele­phone num­ber.

Since Brad­ley Nowell’s death, Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh have been per­form­ing as Long Beach Dub All­stars, but recently have taken back Sub­lime as a band name, since the arrival of Rome Ramirez. A judge has put a stop to this, and Nowell’s fam­ily retain rights to the name.
