Let It Enfold You was a huge success among young men with black hair and tight jeans, but not an earth-shattering album among other demographics. This album looks set to follow its predecessor. Admittedly, their sound has changed, but instead of becoming an innovative, imaginative talent, they have merely become one of a legion of emo bands masquerading behind their ‘we’re so unique’ fronts. The album doesn’t begin all that badly, but James Nielsen’s vocal deficiencies are shown up in tracks such as ‘Sick or Sane (Fifty for a Twenty)’. No track on this album has the beauty and poetry of ‘Rum Is For Drinking Not Burning’ from the previous album. Not the worst album in the world, but generic and formulaic.
