A day late, a buck short…

Beau of Saosin has pos­ted on their mes­sage board, telling us that the band have par­ted ways with Cove, their lead singer, but they have not yet found a replace­ment for him.

Sub­lime with Rome (Sub­lime with Rome Ramirez instead of Brad­ley Now­ell) will hit the stu­dio in Octo­ber to record a new album, accord­ing to Rome on the band’s offi­cial website.

Band­camp have announced that they will begin char­ging a 15% trans­ac­tion fee on all sales made on their web­site, up to $5000 per band, at which point it drops to 10%. This still com­pares very favour­ably to iTunes’s 30%.

I Am Ghost have packed it all in. Appar­ently, they basic­ally just fizzled out, no major upsets, no real single reason.

Weezer’s eighth album will not be released through Gef­fen, but will instead be released through an indie label. The album is as yet unnamed, but will be released on Septem­ber 13th.

On July 27th, The Spill Can­vas will digit­ally release a new album, called Formalities.

Accord­ing to his twit­ter, Mat­thew from Reli­ent K is work­ing on solo material.
