Beau of Saosin has posted on their message board, telling us that the band have parted ways with Cove, their lead singer, but they have not yet found a replacement for him.
Sublime with Rome (Sublime with Rome Ramirez instead of Bradley Nowell) will hit the studio in October to record a new album, according to Rome on the band’s official website.
Bandcamp have announced that they will begin charging a 15% transaction fee on all sales made on their website, up to $5000 per band, at which point it drops to 10%. This still compares very favourably to iTunes’s 30%.
I Am Ghost have packed it all in. Apparently, they basically just fizzled out, no major upsets, no real single reason.
Weezer’s eighth album will not be released through Geffen, but will instead be released through an indie label. The album is as yet unnamed, but will be released on September 13th.
On July 27th, The Spill Canvas will digitally release a new album, called Formalities.
According to his twitter, Matthew from Relient K is working on solo material.
