Jimmy Eat World have announced that we will hear Tom Linton’s voice on an up-and-coming JEW track, probably on the album.
Pat Dee, drummer in Punchline, is now the ex-drummer from Punchline, after apparently being kicked out of the band. Speculation abounds that this is to make way for Cory from The Composure or PJ Caruso, the band’s old drummer.

The Powerless Rise, As I Lay Dying’s latest album, is streaming over on their MySpace.
According to Chris Freeman of Manchester Orchestra, the band are back in the studio.
Doghouse records have apparently signed Danger Radio (Andrew de Torres of The Scene Aesthetic, among others). An album is in the work, but in the meantime, a couple of B-sides EPs are coming out in June.

Natavia Lowery has been formally convicted of the murder of Linda Stein, the former Ramones manager. She has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for the murder.
