Blink-182 have announced that they will be play­ing Area 4 Fest­ival (Ger­many), High­field Fest­ival (Ger­many), and I-Day Fest­ival (Italy) on the 21st August, 22nd August and 4th September.

Bad Religion’s Brett Gure­witz has spoken on his twit­ter about BR’s pro­gress on their next album. Appar­ently, they’ve been demo­ing mater­ial over the past few days.

Unfor­tu­nately, Stew­art Teg­gart, who was, amongst oth­ers Bad Reli­gion and Pennywise’s former man­ager, has died. He appar­ently had a heart attack on Tues­day morning.

Some­thing Cor­por­ate have been work­ing on a “Best of” com­pil­a­tion album, which, accord­ing to Andrew McMa­hon, will include rework­ings of two old demos, which were ori­gin­ally dis­trib­uted as B-sides to a disc given away to those on the Some­thing Cor­por­ate mail­ing list who sold tick­ets to a gig nine years ago.

The law­suit about the use of the name “Sub­lime” is over. Brad­ley Nowell’s fam­ily have come to an agree­ment with the former band mem­bers that will see them tour­ing under the name “Sub­lime with Rome”.

Jesse has left Lag­wagon. In a post on the band’s offi­cial forum, he cites a vari­ety of reas­ons, ran­ging from his young son, to the fact that he finds his new job more reward­ing than “play­ing Mr. Cof­fee for the 2000th time”.
